A magician receives an invitation to the World Magic Championship. Arriving at the venue, he discovers no one is there. He's forced to perform tricks for the local wildlife.

A man wakes up lying in the snow, trying to remember how he got there. He comes out of the freezing water, finds a container with dry clothes, and begins a difficult journey. Exhausted, he discovers a small cabin, warms himself by the fire, eats a can of food, and sleeps. The next morning, he continues searching for hope.
