	Ross Island Antarctica 2025 -2026 Ross Island Antarctica follows the remarkable journey of Chef Jean Christophe Varnier, whose passion extends far beyond the kitchen. After completing two summer seasons at Scott Base, Jean Christophe returned for a full year for his first Antarctic winter. In every spare moment, he ventured into the frozen landscape with his camera, determined to capture the beauty of one of the most remote places on Earth. From vast icy panoramas and extraordinary wildlife encounters to the ever-changing moods of Antarctica's weather, his lens reveals a world that few people will ever experience. Filmed between October 2025 and August 2026, this short film showcases some of the most breathtaking moments of Antarctica, offering a rare glimpse into a season defined by silence, resilience, and awe.
