For winter 2020 Palmer station received a state-of-the-art espresso machine. This was no ordinary kitchen appliance. Kyle, the latest in kitchen artificial intelligence, was programed to not only make the continents best cup of joe but constantly monitor and improve station morale. That is until recently. “The Espresso Incident” recounts the downfall, corruption and ultimate repair of Kyle; through on site interviews and a dramatic retelling of those fateful 48hrs. Join us as the inhabitants of Palmer station use their combined skills to fix Kyle and stave off a winter without coffee.
